Once Upon a Vacation... Flea Bag’s began as a family trip to Laguna Beach California, where Ally, the family dog, discovered the joys of the ocean. The ocean left its mark on Ally, and would soon leave its mark on Las Vegas. Shortly after returning to Las Vegas, Vicki LePore (a long time Las Vegas resident and well known face in the casino industry) learned the tricks of the trade from fellow Barkery owner, Stephanie of Balboa Island, California. The decision was made then and there to begin a new chapter in her life. Being a Vice President in the casino industry left Vicki with no doubt that she could manage a retail store, but having a little help never hurt. Vicki soon enlisted her long time friend to join in on ‘Flea Bag’s.’ Flea Bag’s was currently staged in Vicki’s kitchen. A place to test recipes and shop the wide selection of possible inventory, the kitchen was wonderful but it was time to take this show on the road. Flea Bag’s began it’s journey at the Eastern and St. Rose location. This location was great, but it lacked the foot traffic that was needed to boost sales and marketability.  Soon after Flea Bag’s met it’s three year anniversary, Vicki was offered a position as Vice President of Marketing at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, a Station Property, which she gladly accepted. It was not long after that Station Casinos decided to build The | District ℠, a new and innovative mall structure similar to mall’s seen in larger metropolitan cities. Vicki, who is now the sole owner of Flea Bag’s, jumped at this opportunity and with the help of Mr. Brian Greenspun, signed the lease on her future. Vicki left the casino industry shortly after to run Flea Bag’s, now a growing business with a city-wide reputation, full time and has not looked back. With business booming, Vicki knows that she made the right decision. Ally however, is not so sure...
